Maintaining the quality and excellence of the DSHS band and mariachi programs requires funding for new music, instrument repairs, new instruments, music festival fees, band trips and more. The school district is not able to cover all expenes, so the Band Boosters helps to raise the needed funds. If you are able, please donate towards this year's band expenses
$ 25 transportation for one student to a music festival
$125 sheet music for one song
$200 minor instrument repair
$300 advanced instrument repair
$350 average annual costs for a single band student
$500 music festival entrance fee
$1000+ new musical instrument
$2000+ one student can attend NYC band tour
The DSHS Band Boosters is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and all contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by IRS regulations.

Please indicate on the memo line if the check is a "General trip donation", a "Trip donation for <student's name>", or a "General donation" for any purpose.
