I’m Tarrence Sturdivant, an 18-year-old senior at Drew Charter School, born and raised in Atlanta. I live in a close-knit household with my mom, siblings, and our dog Bear, and my grandparents are just down the street. My strong family foundation and community ties keep me grounded.
I balance a packed schedule of school, basketball, and late shifts with my granddad’s construction business. I’m also part of Young Life and co-founded a nonprofit called Shoethics. These responsibilities have sharpened my time management, leadership, and dedication.
I’ve led and participated in every Spirit Week pep rally since elementary school, helping organize themes, talent shows, and engaging activities. One year, I introduced a theme promoting individuality and unity, resulting in an uplifting student talent show. These rallies promote community spirit, inclusivity, and lasting memories at Drew.
