Fall Learning Journal
10th grade Spanish II
Entry Event: Describe your house by heart. Check the example to emulate it. This is a speaking task targeting the standard 'Presentational Mode of Communication.' Use the same driving questions we have been working with in class.
Essential Questions: ¿Cómo es tu casa? ¿Cómo es tu familia? ¿Qué hay en…? ¿De qué color es…? ¿Dónde está…? ¿De qué tamaño es…?
Research and idea development: I looked around my house to see what I could talk about for the video. I also looked in my notebook to come up with ideas for what I could say about My family and about my house.
Planning: I set up the script for my video describing the house and practiced it until I learned the script.
Filming and Editing: My teacher looked over my presentation two times and told me what mistakes I made and then I would then change them. While recording the video I messed up many times and had to do retakes so my video could be better.
Produce: To the left is my final video after the many takes and my final family presentation after correcting what my teacher told me to correct.
