For this project, we were assigned a communicative disease and research different components about the disease. My group chose Haemophilus Influenzae split the work and I was assigned the pathophysiology and clinical aspects of the disease. I researched how the pathogen enters and infects the body, how to treat the disease clinically, and how patients are diagnosed and treated.

For this project, we created a data table and graph with details about the infectious disease cases of Shiga toxin–producing Escherichia coli (STEC) per year in the U.S. Working in groups, we originally started the project using the video and public information about STEC infection over the years.
