For my YWrite book cover, I choose to base the picture off of a scene that occurs near the end of the story, where the two main characters travel far out into the New Orleans bayou to watch the sunset. This scene really shows the highest and happiest point in the book, so it made sense to have it as the cover. The design relates to the book because it shows the city of New Orleans as a lively place. Fireworks are going off in the distance and a beautiful color illuminates the sky. I really think it helps draw in the reader to the story being told.
