Financing Life Parts 1 & 2 -
The project is about the hardship of life, and how our finances dictate our lives. Actually the project is about a potential job, and how our income would be properly distributed between different fees and expenses. For my job, I choose to be a pianist in New York City. I only made 50,000 dollars a year, which was not nearly enough to live in New York. I was unable to buy a car or a house, but really you don't need those in New York. Renting is fine. Overall, I think the project made too many assumptions about how life is, with some expenses seeming nessisray.
Roller Coaster Project works sheets
For this project, we used our knowledge of graphing and reading polynomials to predict the location over time as well as the highest and lowest points on the roller coaster. We used calculators to graph functions and drew out the graphs.
