Group Photograph with our Guernica Murals
Change is Gonna Come Propaganda Project - How can Propaganda start another war?
Change is Gonna Come
Both Guernica and our Change is gonna come artwork are about a period of war. While Guernica is about the Spanish Civil War while our piece is about the Russia-Ukraine war. Our piece loosely relates to Cubism through the use of fractures in Russia, while are meant to both represent the issues causing division in Russia and the cubist elements of fractured values.
As for the actual content of the paintings, both our painting and Guernica use images of people being harmed to show the horrible actions being committed. Guernica uses symbolism through the bull and the horse to show numerous deeper meanings, and our painting uses the actions being committed by the people in the painting to convey a deeper message of the destruction of our world. We try and show how the conflict in Ukraine is only increasing the destruction of our planet.
Molecule art project
For my completed art project, I modeled the molecule for H2O and incorporated the molecule into a synthesizer. The idea was to use the molecules as a sine wave. In order for the whole thing to work correctly, I had to make sure everything was as symmetrical as it could get, and I used some repetition in the many different nobs to make it all feel coherent. The colors were made as realistically as I could, and even the textures are similar to how a synth from the 70s or 80s would look.
The modeling part of the project was rather simple. I even made sure to render the model I made in different software to add lighting effects along with smooth textures. Overall, I think it turned out pretty well.
You could use 3d molding for character design in 3d animations, like Disney animations or something. Also, you could use 3d modeling for architectural design.
