2025 SMLAC Debutante Year in Review Video

OVERVIEW

From August to March, I participated in a transformative debutante program with the Stone Mountain-Lithonia Alumnae Chapter (SM-LAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, culminating in the Cotillion Ball. Through various workshops and events, I developed leadership skills, built lasting friendships, and grew both personally and socially.

Personal Growth and Leadership

The program’s workshops emphasized health, etiquette, and community service. Engaging in these activities enhanced my confidence, public speaking abilities, and understanding of self-care. Bonding with deb sisters taught me the value of teamwork and mutual support.

Memorable Moments

One of the most impactful aspects was the bond formed with my deb sisters. We shared experiences, challenges, successes, and had the tough conversations that created a sisterhood that extended beyond the program. The Cotillion Ball was a celebration of our collective journey and individual growth.

Debutante Bio

Madison is the delightful, well-accomplished daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael and Jazmone Robinson. She attends Drew Charter School Senior Academy. Madison is an intern for Cardinal Development Group, LLC, a mental health organization, junior choreographer for her school’s dance department, co-captain of the Varsity Cheer team, and a member of National Honor Society & Beta Club while being a dual-enrollment student at Georgia State University. She plans to attend Alabama Agricultural & Mechanical University in Normal, Alabama. Madison is being presented this evening by Mr. Michael Robinson, her father. Her escort is DeAnthony Payne Jr., a student at Strayer University and the son of Mr. DeAnthony Payne Sr. and Mrs. Kimberly Green. Madison’s motto is “You have to realize you are everything and more, just on your own.” - Jhene Aiko
