My assignment was to create a digital image with the word "ChemVAS" using objects related to the subject. To create this image I used images from the internet with transparent backgrounds and a gradient brush. A principle of design I used to make this was line. Something I liked about this was using the brush tools. Something I didn't like about this was looking for all the images to make the words because it took a while.

Ratio was the principle I went with. I created a circle-based representation of the ratio that resembled a Fibonacci sequence. I chose circles because I thought it was more creative. I could make it more even and include another type of form into it to make it better. Making the shapes vary would allow me to start the pattern with a circle and switch to different shapes as I go along would be another option to improve.

End of Year Reflection
Throughout the year in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics), I have gained a deeper understanding of the interconnectedness between the different disciplines within the curriculum. One of the significant projects I undertook during the first semester was the Deeply Rooted project. This project allowed me to explore the relationships and overlap between science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics, highlighting how they can work together to solve complex problems.
In the second semester, I had the opportunity to collaborate with other classes on a project titled "A Change is Gonna Come." This project provided a platform for students from various disciplines to come together and address a common theme or issue. Through this collaboration, I was able to witness firsthand how the integration of different perspectives and expertise can lead to innovative and holistic solutions.
Throughout my 10th-grade journey, I have not only developed subject-specific knowledge but also acquired important skills that have contributed to my personal growth. One area of growth has been in managing my time more efficiently and consistently submitting assignments on time. By honing these skills, I have become more organized and have been able to approach my work in a more structured and productive manner.
Overall, my experiences in STEAM have allowed me to see the interconnectedness of various disciplines and how they can be leveraged to solve real-world problems. This interdisciplinary approach has not only broadened my knowledge but has also fostered a sense of productivity, enabling me to approach tasks with a more focused and effective mindset.
