The topic of the episode I chose was “How can the Fundamental Theorem of Algebra be used in industry?” I chose this topic because applying things that I learn in school is interesting to me. I am proud of the fact that I was able to make multiple connections between algebra and real life. A way I could improve upon this topic is to go more in depth about certain topics that I didn’t speak much on. I could also be more relaxed when speaking. I would like to say that this project helped me learn a lot more about the Fundamental Theorem of Algebra.
The topic of this assignment was "What are examples of exponential growth and decay in real life?" I chose it because I believed that I could explain it fully better than the rest of the topics. I am proud of the examples that I used in the video. I could improve by giving a better general definition of the terms. I could also look at the camera more.
My topic for this episode was "Math Origin Story". I explained how I started out in math and also some key moments in my life involving math and math classes. I am proud of the amount I was able to recall while I was creating this. I was able to go back to the 4th grade and explain from then to now. I could improve the introduction of the video. I could also have better delivery while speaking.
My topic for this episode was "The Origin of Pascal's Triangle". I chose this topic because it was very interesting to me and fun to explain. I am proud of the research that I did on this topic. Using my research I was able to link the actual origin of Pascal's Triangle to a Chinese mathematician. I could improve the thumbnail. I could also have a longer introduction instead of going directly into the information.
Today in class we did an assignment on exponential growth and decay. It was called "Zombie Apocalypse". I thought it was cool how we used beans to represent things instead of just doing all our work on paper. I think my group and I could have done a better job counting out the correct amount of beans to replace every time. I think we did well when it came to making our calculations because we understood the work well.
