Sandbox challenge

This was my assignment in codehs where I had to demonstrate everything we had learned.

For Loops

This was codehs lesson 1.10.8 where we learned about for loops. This particular one was about Karel jumping hurdles.

This was my practice task in codehs. I had to work with a partner to instruct karel to paint an image. My partner and I had karel paint a beach scene with a boat.

The task was to have karel paint in a checkered pattern.

Stations APCompSci

Today we were doing stations in AP computer science. This was the review quizizz on functions and parameters. I completed this with my group members Josia, Cristal, and Marisol.

Second station in AP Computer Science. This was a a quizizz on a new topic. This was completed on my own.

Snap Candy Game

This was the coding assignment where we had to use snap programming to create a halloween themed game about collecting candy while avoiding a ghost programed to chase and/or roam the area.

Random Number Game

This was the number game that we were assigned to recreate in python. Our assignment was to add a personal twist to the code. The twist I added was a way to exit the game if you wanted to. I did this by adding a break function to my code.

Tell A Story

This was one of our first major projects in AP Computer Science. Our task was to create and tell a story using python. My story was a story of two towers and how the people in one tower felt no motivation to be proactive which led to their destruction. This was a fun project which ended up taking me one week and a half to complete.

Performance Task

This was the culmination of our efforts this year. We had to create a program within the guidelines in order to submit to AP classroom. I chose to make a movie picker that takes in your inputs and sorts it to find a suitable movie for you.

Conduct a Survey

For this project we were tasked with conducting a survey on any topic that we chose. I chose to survey on the best chicken restaurants.

Simulator Task

For this task we were to get into groups and run a simulation comparing wolves and sheeps birth and death-rates.

In the Revision class we are doing a radio ad project. This incorporates music that represents America and a restaurant of our choice.
