This project was a culmination of all the tenth grade classes. At first we did research on how food was brought across the world in classes such as World History and how impoverished communities suffer from food swamps and deserts. We were then transported to No Mas Cantina where we were introduced to new recipes and cooking and shortly after our return we put that knowledge to use in creating our own recipes

1.  How is the mandala used? They are used as maps describing paradises or deities.

2.  How are mandalas related to world civilizations? They hold incredible spiritual value in Hindu and Buddhist cultures as well as Islamic cultures.

3.  What principles of design can you see? Mandalas use repetition, emphasis, and unity 

4.  How could you use a mandala to show an atom? Since a lot of mandalas use almost an art design similar to layers, they could be reconstructed to look like the layers of an atom.
