We created a dance tutorial for a song of our choice. We had to include 8 prepositions and 3 body parts. My group used TikTok to film recorded a voiceover of the instructions.

We worked on a project about the Tree of Life. The Ceiba tree specifically is a symbol of the link between heaven, Earth, and life below. After learning of its characteristics and history, we worked on a slide and presented it.

During our travel unit, our class made a travel blog for a 2-month vacation. The places had to be Latin American countries and we were given the option to travel or backpack with a budget of $5,000. I chose the countries, Mexico, Guatemala, and El Salvador. 

Inspired by the Chicano civil rights movement, our class created propaganda posters. First, we watched a movie about Cesar Chavez's life and his contributions to the movement. After reflecting and discussing in Spanish, our class had a mock protest. The topic my close voted on was the length of the school year. Our posters advocated for shorter schools and longer Summers.
