PLANTS & ANIMALS
Our Kindergarten students have transformed into researchers, authors, and illustrators during their exploration of plants and animals! They began by learning to distinguish between living and nonliving things, then each student selected a specific plant or animal to investigate. After gathering facts, they created their own informational books to share what they learned. Taking it a step further, they were introduced to coding and used SCRATCH to bring their research to life in a digital format. Now, each student can answer our driving question, "How do scientists classify living things?"Â Â
