Stuckey/Starks

Our Drew Eagles have been very busy this quarter! The kindergartners practiced their speaking and listening skills when they interviewed their friend to learn more about their toy preferences. They also used all of the elements of STEAM in their "Toys and Play" project. They learned about force and motion, created a prototype of their friend's toy, engineered and designed a toy using recyclable materials, and incorporated attributes such as size, color, shape, and texture into their project. Alaun & Amir

Alaun created a small toy car for Amir that has spinning wheels. Amir created a robot for equipped with a moving head and arms.

Nova, Britton, & Alise

Nova created a small robot dog with springy legs for Britton! Britton designed a robot cat for Alise, making sure its tail moves up and down! Alise built a medium-sized train for Nova that can be pushed back and forth.

Allan & Theo

Theo crafted a sock puppet for Allan, complete with a mouth that can open and close! Allan built a SWAT truck for Theo that can be pushed back and forth, and it even has real working lights!

Olivia & Ciara

Ciara built a jet for Olivia with four spinning propellers! Olivia made a BIG purple plane for Ciara, that she can even get inside! Her plane is also equipped with spinning propeller!

Eleanor & Neela

Eleanor designed a teddy bear purse for Neela that opens and closes, perfect for keeping all her essentials! Neela made a bright pink unicorn for Eleanor, with a head that moves up and down and has a colorful mane and tail.

Finn & Carter

Finn designed a small tiger marionette puppet for Carter. Carter made a soft and furry bunny stuffie for Finn, with floppy ears and a fuzzy cotton tail!

Kartier & Clark

Kartier made a small plane for Clark that has a spinning propeller! Clark made a medium blue flatbed truck for Kartier.

Oliver & Preston

Oliver designed a tissue box race car for Preston, ensuring that he would be able to push it back and forth. Preston made a unicorn for Oliver that has gold glittery wings that move up and down.

Khaza & Elise

Elise made a big dollhouse for Khaza with blinds that go up and down! Khaza made Elise a pink pig with a springy curly tail!

Ezra & Nasir

Nasir created a red springy dragon for Ezra! Ezra create a big purple monster truck for Nasir.
