PBL Quarter 1: TOYS & PLAY
Our Drew Eagles have been very busy this quarter answering our driving question: "How can I design and build a toy that respects my friends preferences?"
The kindergarten class implemented and practiced all elements of the S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, & Mathematics) process. Students used their speaking and listening to interview their friends and learn of their friends preferences.
Students also learned about force and motion, created a blueprint and prototype of their friend's toy, engineered and designed a toy using recyclable materials. We had a great time learning all about becoming toy experts!
