This shot was from a project that paid homage to Gordon Parks. We were tasked with recreating one of Gordon Park's many admirable photos. Out of the entire project, I personally consider this photo to be one of the best shots I took. The other is featured in the assignment below.

This another shot from the same project that pays respect to Gordon Parks. The inspiration of the photo comes from a beautiful original of Gordon Parks. It is shot that I think is one of my personal best. Also, this model is one of my favorites to shoot.

While everyone loves a headshot of someone smiling, I've always been interested in photos that captures people's faces in their resting state. When we were tasked with headshot practice, I knew I wanted to get at least one photo of someone in a resting position and staring at the camera. This model did a great job of that and is also a dear friend of mine (who is a favorite to take pictures of). I am very happy with this shot.

This is one of my favorite composition shots I've taken. I was trying to fill the frame, and one of my favorite ways to do that is to experiment with positioning (people) against backgrounds. A lot of pictures that I admire have some sort of interesting positioning of multiple subjects in a full frame, so I wanted to try it for myself. I loved to result.
