With this project, I had to assume the task of a city planner in Mexico City. I both designed and organized a city that involved at least 20 essential places. Of course, all of the places had to be accurately labeled in Spanish (as it is in Mexico City). When you look at the adjacent image, you'll see that each building or place has it's name in Spanish directly written on its surface. This project took the entire class period as I had use notes from my composition notebook & previous lessons to double check that each place was labeled correctly.
Unidad 2
With this final project, we first had to choose a Hispanic country then simplify 2 dish recipes and one appetizer or desert recipe. My country was Honduras; so, I used the new food vocabulary like reflexive and command verbs to simplify recipes for Baleadas (a Honduran tortilla dish) and Sopa de Caracol (a Honduran soup dish). Lastly, I used more food vocabulary to simplify a recipe for Arroz con Leche (a Honduran desert). Next to this text are the slides, enjoy!
