"Detroit Become Human" is the name of a video game I've had the both the pleasure to play and to watch others play. It's a decision-based game wherein the player follows a complex story and is given important choices that effect the gameplay/storyline. 

As instructed by my E-sports teacher, I have researched the trends of which people queried Google about a video game of my choice. Here are the main results of my findings:

• According to Google Trends, "Detroit Become Human" reached the peak level of searches from December 27, 2025 - Jan 3, 2026. 

•  The week stated in the upper bullet is unique in that it holds the transition from 2025 to 2026. New Years Eve/New Years is always a time of reflection, so while I can't say exactly what was happening in the game the searches could be explained by reminiscent players. 

• From data like this, game developers can discover what players seemed to like and dislike about the game, societal morals based upon the decisions made in the game, etc. 

• Data mentioned in the previous bullet could influence the style of other games made by these developers, the possibility of there being additional games made or spinoffs of the game, and much more positives for those who enjoyed playing the game.
