NEWTONS ROCKETS

We made our rocket by taping straws into the empty plastic cup. Then we filled up the bottle with vinegar and put a cork lid on it. When it was time to make the rockets fly, we took the cork off then put the baking soda in and closes it back up really quickly, shook it up, and put it upside down. Most of the rockets never got into the air but it was pretty cool. NEWTONS CRADLE

We made our cradle by getting marbles, string, popsicle sticks, and a hot glue gun. We assembled all the materials and made our cradle. We then tested it out. The marbles hit each other and transferred kinetic energy through each marble and then marbles on the end were the only ones that went up in the air. https://flip.com/s/ysFPWqZYnS_R 

We made an Instagram account about the immersive experience. 

Then we documented all the work that the whole 9th grade made. 

We incorporated the theme of water in our work by making posts about water animals and things like that. 

I am proud of how well organized and nice our work looks.
