AP Human Geography

In AP Human Geography, we are given assigned countries that we do certain assignments on. For this assignment, we were asked to predict our population's growth in 40 years and make propaganda posters that will most likely be needed in order to control the population.

For this culture map, we viewed 13 different coming of age rituals in different cultures. We then mapped each location and added a description and picture that went with each ritual. 

For our PBL project we had to make a theme park that was based on one of the books that we had read this year. After making the attraction, we had to create a restaurant that incorporates food from the setting of the book we chose. 

In AP, we watched a documentary about the food industry and what really happens behind the scenes. We learned about the differences in how big companies that use intensive farming produce food versus smaller subsistent farmers produce food.
