People started using abstraction in modernist art because they wanted to create something unique that isn't just based off an image but based off feelings or emotions also. In African or Native American Culture, abstract art could be used to communicate ideas, beliefs, social, and political themes. This compares because in abstract I feel as if the artist are trying to tell a story or have something stand out to make a message. I think abstract art could be related to math because you could use shapes, lines, and many math concepts in the artworks and it could be related to science because of the mixture of colors. You can require data to create abstract artwork by looking at other people's work and using the techniques they have or collecting the color they have to help yours stand out. I think I like to work in a more personal expressive way because it comes from my own mindset and it's my own piece.
Borax is a type of salt. Borax is a compound consisting of an elementary substance called boron, united with oxygen and soda. We use the hot water so that the borax dissolves in the water more and super saturated. When the water cools, it creates a crystal and the borax hardens in the water. My sculpture is dynamic because its very creative and different, I made a symmetrical heart shaped sculpture.Â
1. I've been taught a lot of things in art related to other classes, such as Mandalas, electrons, and properties of design and elements of art.
2. This year we've made ChemVAS typography, experimenting with shapes and lines, its elementary and electron mandala project, and more that connect with Principles of Design and Elements of Art.
3. I experiment with different possibilities in my planning and process by breaking down each possibility and choosing which one would best fit the experiment and determine my point. I show my process by writing down my steps, finalizing them and showing my points throughout.
4. I've learned about Paper making art, Mandalas, Rule of thirds art, and more.
The Mandala relates to STEAM because it shows different types of science and math, and even art all put together to make one. In Dr. Kurt's class I used the colors and properties we learned about, In Dr. Garner's we learned about our elements and the electron configurations. In Ms. Wynn and Cain we learned about the backgrounds of the mandalas, and then lastly in Mrs. Wilson we learned about the Shapings in the Mandalas. My work was pretty successful, I feel like everything went smooth and it was a easy project/learning experience. If I were a teacher I would actually do this too, it was a good project and I loved it.
1. Mandala is used as a map representing deitiesÂ
2. The mandala is a symbol of the universe in its ideal form, and its creation signifies the transformation of a universe suffering into one of joy.
3. The principles of design I see is variety, pattern, and repetition.
4. You could use mandala to show an atom because they're both so small and use microscopes to see the single organism.
The processes was to first dig up
The dirt and form a hole and collect enough dirt for the brick, then add water but not too much water in to the hole. Once your done with those steps, your going to smush the mud together with your hands or feet and make sure it goods to a good smooth texture then your going to start forming your brick with the brick holder after you wash it out. Once you’ve put the mud in the brick holder start to smooth the top out, let it sit, and then slowly shake while pulling the brick holder up and boom, your done. Then for the bamboo structure, you take your bamboo sticks and put them together how u want them then tie them together at the top and make sure the bottom is stable.
 Ancient Civilizations Project- World HistoryÂ
I think if I knew this was the only way to survive at the time i would try my best to create everything I need or even new things.
This entry event relates to what we’ve been learning because it shows how the Neolithic civilization was living around the time and we’ve been learning about that so this was us experiencing how it was.

Geometry can have multiple interpretations, levels of depth, and we use it to describe things. Architecture is the art of building. Architects make drawings and construction of buildings in 2d shapes and Geometry mostly use 2d shapes for width and height. Geometry relates buildings to nature and other buildings. Geometry and Architecture go together because architects use geometric principles to plan shapes and forms of buildings.

Today in class, we worked on our "Shaping Our World" project. We first picked which civilizations we would like to have, and my group and I picked Mayans. Next we did research using the strategy G.R.A.P.E.S. This went over their Geography, Religion, Achievements, Politics, Economics, and Society. We also added on Modern day, but I learned a lot about Maya today.Â

Today in class, we did Membean for the first 15 mins of class. Then we were assigned an IXL on parallel structure sentences. Then last, we worked on our scripts for our project.
