Are you a current junior interested in exploring big questions about meaning, society, and the universe? Join the Transformative Ideas High School Seminar, where you’ll engage with ideas from thinkers like Socrates and Martin Luther King Jr. while strengthening your reading, writing, and discussion skills.
This free, week-long residential program in Durham also gives you the opportunity to live on campus at Duke University and experience college life firsthand.

Who: 12–16 rising seniors from Durham-area high schools

NC General Assembly House and Senate Page Program                                                      Â
The House and Senate Page programs offers current high school sophomores, juniors, or seniors the opportunity to learn about, and participate in, the legislative process of our state. It is a four-day long experience that allows high school students to observe firsthand how our laws are made.Â
