1. Governor's School Information and Application/Recommendation Directions:
WHEN YOU HAVE COMPLETED YOUR APPLICATION (AND AUDITION IF DOING AN ARTS DISCIPLINE), AND ARE READY TO SUBMIT THEM, DO NOT EMAIL ME WITH ATTACHMENTS OR LINKS TO THEM. FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS ON THIS PAGE.
ALL MATERIALS (APPLICATION, AUDITIONS FOR ARTS DISCIPLINE, AND RECOMMENDATIONS) NEED TO BE SUBMITTED BY MIDNIGHT ON NOVEMEBER 9TH.
Note: 10th Graders can only apply for Dance, Orchestra, or Instrumental Disciplines. 11th graders may apply for any discipline.

2. Application and Submission:
Governor's School Application: The application to Governor's School is in a Google Form which is linked to your respective school (see below.) You can click the link, download the application from the form, work on it, save it as a PDF, and then open it and work on it at a later time. You can also go to the Governor's School Website , download the application, and do the same.
Governor's School Application Submission: When you are ready to submit the application, again click the link for your school (see below) and follow the directions in the form. If you are doing an arts discipline, you will copy and paste the link to your audition in the form as well.

3. Teacher Recommendation and Submission
Make sure your recommenders read the directions for your recommendations carefully. Please email me who they are, so I can add them to my Canvas so that they can access and complete the recommendations. They will download, complete and submit their recommendations through the links to your school (see below) exactly as you do with your applications:

2. North Carolina School of Science and Math offers Extension Opportunities during the year and in the summer. See the programs they offer HERE.
3. Attention- Credit By Demonstrated Mastery allows
students to test out of certain courses. Information
