PEer Partners

The goal in providing quality inclusive physical education is to ensure all students, with and without disabilities, experience the mutual benefits of inclusive participation. Students learn in an environment that meets their abilities and needs, and maximizes the essential opportunities for social, emotional and educational interaction with age appropriate peers.

  • All students who are interested in being a Partner in this course must complete an application (see below). This is an opportunity to maintain appropriate class sizes in order to provide differentiated instruction for all students.

  • Partner to Classmate ratio is 1:1 or 2:1

  • Meet with the special education department to determine how many students with disabilities will be enrolled.
