Handbooks & Policies

As Commanders, we are advocates of our passions, challengers of inequity, and champions of change. We find P.R.I.D.E. in shaping a more inclusive global community and taking command of our role within that world.

We have the following guidelines in place to empower all Commanders to live our vision. The CAS and EE handbooks are provided to support students in being advocates of their passions and champions of change. With CAS and EE, students are encouraged to try new experiences and share the things they are most passionate about or interested in with others! The policies hold Kennedy accountable to providing equitable opportunities to all students; they are intended to provide a platform and language for students to challenge inequities if or when they see them.

Handbooks

Students involved in Theory of Knowledge, including all Diploma students, will find this document helpful as a way to better understand what CAS is and how to engage in CAS experiences.

Students pursing the full IB Diploma, in addition to course students who choose to complete the EE as an additional certificate, will find the Extended Essay policies and guide included in this handbook.

This is a document intended for use by teachers currently serving as Extended Essay Supervisors; however, students may find it helpful in order to better understand what they can expect from their EE Supervisor.
