You must wear a lanyard with your College ID card at all times when in College, failure to do so will result in being challenged by a member of staff.

Travel and Transport
Travel and Transport
Our Hub campus is based right in the heart of Doncaster town centre and we offer a free bus service to and from our other campus' over at Stainforth and Aston Springs Farm.
Public Transport
Doncaster Travel Interchange and Bus Station offer bus and train routes covering all areas in and around Doncaster, and they are only a short walk away from our Hub Campus. If you are 16-18 and meet the criteria, you can apply for a Travel Pass to get cheaper fares on buses, trams and Northern trains. CarParking
Although there is no on-site parking, we are surrounded by a number of pay & display car parks for you to use. The nearest is Chappell Drive East which is only a 2-minute walk away. Some of the car parks offer cashless parking only via a mobile phone.
Accessible Parking Spaces
We do offer plenty of disabled parking bays on-site as well as a drop-off bay if you are catching a lift.
Safeguarding
We believe that safeguarding students, staff and visitors is our paramount concern and therefore safeguarding issues take priority in relation to any other policies and/or procedures.
We ensure the safety, effective protection and prevention of maltreatment or impairment of health and development of children and young people, in line with College policy, local policies and procedures and Government Legislation.
We also ensure the College responds effectively to the ideological challenge of terrorism and extremism and the risk of radicalisation.
What is Safeguarding?
Safeguarding can include a range of potential issues, such as:
bullying, including cyber bullying, (by text, on social media etc.) and prejudice based bullying
racist, disability and homophobic or transphobic abuse
radicalisation and extremist behaviour
child sexual exploitation, in the context of young people
sexting
substance misuse
risk management and safety of others in relation to admissions and on course students
issues that may be specific within Doncaster
particular issues in relation to domestic violence, sexual exploitation, female genital mutilation and forced marriage
Children and Young People who are missing from home and/or education.
The Designated Safeguarding Team can be contacted for information and support in relation to the safeguarding of Young People and Vulnerable Adults and also Child Sexual Exploitation.

What is Prevent?
Another aspect of our safeguarding is the PREVENT duty, which the Government states that we have to have due regard to the need to prevent people from being drawn into terrorism, supporting terrorism or being drawn into non-violent extremism.
We have a duty to ensure that those identified with vulnerabilities are given support and advice.
The Government defines extremism and extremist behaviour as vocal or active opposition to fundamental British Values, which include:
Individual liberty
Rule of law
Democracy
Mutual respect and tolerance of different faiths and belief

Togetherall - free, 24/7 online mental health support for all current students
Dear Student,
DN Colleges Group are very pleased to announce the launch of Togetherall, a 24/7 online resource for all current students.
About Togetherall
Togetherall provides support on mental health and wellbeing, via online communities, online courses and a chat facility with a trained counsellor. You can contact them 24/7, about anything that may be worrying you. Remember, your Safeguarding Teams are still available for support (safeguarding@northlindsey.ac.uk / safe-guarding@don.ac.uk - Room A22 @NLC and Room N.5.612 @DC).
Use of Togetherall is free for all current students, and is funded by DN Colleges Group, as part of our ongoing commitment to supporting your mental health and overall wellbeing.
Key points:
You must use your current College or University student email address to register. Visit the website and follow the steps (it’s straightforward but do ask for help if you need it);
Use of Togetherall is kept private, unless you, or someone else, is believed to be at risk. Then your details may be shared with appropriate external agencies for safety.

We start each day by offering a FREE Breakfast Offer to the first 100 students who arrive between 8.15am – 9am. It’s available in the diner and you are just required to show your Student ID Card.
