• Animatic
• Overview
I created a game animatic based on may initial game idea, this was created using the basic idea that you would be going around a mansion looking for items to help progress through the mansion. There would have been a reference to a lighting mechanic but I didn't know how to implement it in animate, more specifically not in way that would match the art style.
• Assets used
The following assets where used for the creation of the animatic along with a link to the pages that they came from:
• Background
(Assets used came from the file at the site: https://opengameart.org/content/16x16-indoor-rpg-tileset)
The background assets where copied from a file on "open game art", it was then opened in photoshop in order to break the images apart and then create an image of a house using them. The image created in photo shop was then opened in animate to be used as the backdrop for the creation of the short animation.
• Furniture
(Assets used came from the file at the site: https://opengameart.org/content/16x16-indoor-rpg-tileset)
The furniture assets where also a part of the "tile set" that the background was created from, they where also split off from the tile set and placed as part of the background. The main reason that they where made as part of the background was that they weren't needed to move.
• Doors
(Assets used came from the file at the site: https://opengameart.org/content/16x16-indoor-rpg-tileset)
The doors where the final asset that was gotten from the same tile set as the background, two of the doors are part of the background but the rest where animated by swapping between an open and closed version when needed.
• Main Character
(Assets used came from the file at the site: https://www.pinterest.co.uk/pin/1082271354190961912)
The asset used to represent the main character was taken from an image on Pinterest, it like most other assets used was taken into Photoshop to be "broken" of the rest of the images on the "character sheet". The main two reasons the main character has no animation is that I couldn't make it look good and secondly it would take too long to learn.
• Ghost
(Assets used came from the file at the site: https://www.pinterest.co.uk/pin/1082271354191151092/)
The ghost asset was gotten from Pinterest just like the "Main Character" asset, this didn't need much alteration on photoshop besides removing he background. Just like the main character, its movement isn't animated as to save time.
• Animatic gif
Below is the final result for the animation created using animate, set to run on an indefinite loop.
• Poem
• Overview
Following are two poems, one create by me and another by "chatgpt" based on it. I'm not entirely sure what the point is, but ill try something.
• My poem
Dilapidated wall hide an
Archaic evil that will
Ruin you life and
Kill you with insanity,
Now fight back against
Evil and find the
Shining light that will
Stave off the DARKNESS.
• Chat GPT Poem
In shadows deep, a tale untold,
Dilapidated wall, secrets hold.
Archaic evil, a sinister thread,
Will ruin life with darkness spread.
Kill you with insanity's cruel embrace,
A haunting spectre, a malevolent chase.
Now rise, oh soul, in courage and might,
Fight back against the encroaching blight.
Find the shining light within,
Stave off the darkness, let it not win.
A battle waged with strength untold,
Against the forces, ancient and cold.

Below is a model I created for use as my "company mascot", I had to make a quick model and had to makes changes to the initial idea as I ran out of time in creation. The main changes where that I couldn't get a head created that looked like it matched the model, so I changed another part of the model to be the face instead.
