Peer Assisted Learning

Peer Assisted Learning

The goal of the Peer Assisted Learning program is to provide students with additional academic group study support under the direction of peer leaders, existing students who have successfully completed the course.

Regardless of academic ability, it offers a setting where students can have the best learning experience possible. It emphasizes giving students instant feedback while conducting formative self- and peer assessments. Teachers also choose which classmates to pair up with which students. The two students collaborate on a variety of projects to meet their respective academic goals.
