ND Scholarship

These are the requirements as of August 2025. 

Students that are interested in this scholarship should visit with Mrs. Schaefer to make sure they are taking the correct classes for the requirements. The requirements start in their 9th grade and go through their senior year and a list of all the classes offered at DLB are at the top of this page under "Course Catalog" link.  

DLB provides the following requirement opportunities:

Essential Skills:

-Career Education/Individual Counseling

-Career Exploration Experiences for grades 10-12

-Co-Curricular and Extra-Curricular activities

-Online learning courses (dual credit English & Math classes and 0 hour classes)

-21st Century Skills in 10th grade with Dr. Sandbo and 11th grade with Mr. Stroschein

Post-Secondary Ready:

-Provides and administers 1 ACT test for juniors

-Dual Credit courses

-Algerbra II

-Fine Arts* courses

Workforce Ready:

-CTE* courses 

-Administers the Workkeys tests

-Career Ready Practices done through CTE courses

-Dual Credit courses

-Industry Credential through CPR/AED/1st Aid training to 9th and 11th graders 

-Work-based Learning done through CTE courses

-Administers NDA+ to 10th graders

Military Ready:

-ASVAB testing done at the school for all juniors and any seniors that need to retake it

-Physical Education requirements

*Fine Art Courses: Choir, Band, and all Art classes

*CTE courses: 0 hour, Ag Ed, Business, and FACS classes
