Teacher Approved Post
Seesaw provides students and families with access to the Seesaw app. When a student submits an assignment or comments on another student's post, it must be approved by the teacher. This allows the teacher to monitor the use of the site in addition to encouraging the students to use the site effectively and responsibly. Similar to the students' posts, parent comments must also be approved by the teacher. The parent app only provides access to their own child's Seesaw uploads. Students are able to share their work with their classmates at school, but when they are on a home device students are not able to see their peers' work unless they are tagged in it through a group activity.
Who can use Seesaw?

Tracking Student Growth
Students are able to see their growth through reflecting and seeing the work they have completed since the beginning of the school year. Students are able to nurture their growth mindset as they see progress throughout the school year.
Students Develop and Practice Digital Citizenship
Students have the ability to comment on other students' posts. Seesaw gives students the opportunity to apply the Second Step curriculum by being positive digital citizens. Students learn to give and receive constructive feedback throughout the learning process. Also, Seesaw allows students the ability to exchange ideas with peers. This app gives students the opportunity to continuously see their peers as experts and learners. Students use this app to learn about safety when using technology.
