Classes
6th Grade - PLTW Design & Modeling
7th and 8th graders who elect to take a Technology class may choose from the following courses:
Creative Coding - basic programming skills focusing on concepts and game-based application using graphic code blocks. Programming small bots allows application of concepts in context.
Power Programming 1 and 2- text-based programming concepts and structure using a graphic puzzle-type app. Both levels include programming bots and drones to allow for context application. Additionally, Power Programming 2 includes graphic applications.
Digital Video 1 and 2 -movie making, camera techniques, editing, and special effects. Digital Video 2 allows students to produce, direct, and distribute the New Maple Orientation film to future Maple students.
