AP Chinese Language & Culture

Course description

Students in AP Chinese Language will receive college level instruction. Students will continue to develop interpretive, interpersonal, and presentational communication skills in Mandarin Chinese, along with knowledge of Chinese culture. The focus is on achieving five goal areas: communication, cultures, connections, comparisons, and communities. The course will be conducted exclusively in Chinese and will include materials from a variety of authentic resources. At the conclusion of the course, students will participate in the AP Chinese Language Exam, and will have the opportunity to receive college credit. Students are required to take the AP Exam in May.
