How Do I DEMONSTRATE PROFIENCY IN A WORLD LANGUAGE?

To earn a Seal of Biliteracy, students must achieve a score in 1 of the following:

  • 4 on the AP Language & Culture Exam

    • HHS Students enrolled in AP Chinese or AP Spanish take these exams as part of their course

  • Intermediate High on Standards-based Measurement of Proficiency (STAMP) 4S test

    • HHS Seniors enrolled in a World Languages course receive information about the STAMP Test during second semester.

    • If you are not enrolled in an HHS World Language course, you will receive information about the STAMP test through your district email during the month of March.

To earn a Commendation, students must achieve a score in 1 of the following:

  • Intermediate Low on Standards-based Measurement of Proficiency (STAMP) 4S test
