Driver for a Day
The Drivers for a Day program is an exciting initiative under the DiDi Ambassadors umbrella. Designed to give us firsthand experience in the role of our partner drivers, this program is available from August 19th 2024 and until October 30th.
It aims to foster a partner-centric mindset while promoting greater empathy and understanding of the challenges our drivers face.
The Drivers for a Day program allows DiDi employees to become drivers for one day.
This hands-on experience helps us to strengthen the connection with our mission and enhances corporate perception and reputation; since it allows Orangers to become more informed and passionate advocates.
Recognition and Rewards:
All participants will be recognized in the following ways
Register: Start by filling out this form to begin your process.
Complete your DiDi Conductor App registration:
Download the app and submit your documentation as any driver.
Select the option "Tengo mi propio auto".
You must use the DiDi Provided Car
Upload the required documents (INE/FM2, Driver's License, Profile Picture).
You’ll also need the DiDi Car Tarjeta de Circulación, which you can download here.
Remember! You cannot use your own car
Schedule a Time:
Choose your preferred time slot via Calendly.
Safety First:
If you attended the kickoff session, you’re already safety-approved. If not, we’ll reach out to schedule your safety training within a week.
Review the Safety Guide to familiarize yourself with our safety protocols, and download the Life360 app along with DiSOC for continuous support and monitoring during your drive.
Remember to only accept trips paid in Credit Card. If the payment method is not shown in the broadcast card, you can accept a trip (considering all safety protocols) and confirm the payment method through Chat. If the payment method is cash, cancel the trip.
Drive:
Explore the city and experience the thrill of being a DiDi driver for a day.
Earnings:
Please do not add your bank account to the DiDi App or withdraw your driver earnings. Stay focused on the experience!
Submit the Car´s Status:
Right after your drive, fill out this form to report the car's condition and upload the required pictures.
If there are any damages, note them in the form and immediately notify Michelle Letayf via DChat.

Who can participate in the Driver for a Day program?
All DiDi FTE employees based in CDMX are welcome to join, regardless of role or department.
Do I need my own vehicle to participate?
No, you must use the car provided by the company.
A Kia Niro, Gray, with Plates 45F759.
Is there any cost to participate?
No, participation is completely free for employees.
What if I’ve never driven for DiDi before?
No worries! You don’t need previous DiDi driving experience, but you must know how to drive , as well as comply with the requirements to successfully complete your registration as a Driver in the DiDi Driver app. We’ll provide instructions and resources during the Safety Training to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable experience.
What documents do I need to drive?
Using a DiDi-provided car:

Can I participate more than once?
Yes, you can! However, you will only be eligible for one prize.
How is safety managed during the program?
Safety is our top priority. You’ll receive a Safety Guide, and your journey will be continuously monitored by DISOC through the Life360 app to ensure your safety.
What happens if I get into a car accident?
If an accident occurs, you won’t be responsible for any costs. Please report the incident immediately to DISOC through this link and notify Michelle Letayf. The Life360 app will track your journey in real-time to provide prompt assistance.
How and when will I receive my prize if I come first?
We’ll be giving away 15 North Face jackets in September, October, and November. At the end of each month, Michelle will contact the winners and coordinate with you to deliver the prizes at the CDMX CH1 office.
Will be delivered at CH1 office after each month.
