DiDi began in 2012, inspired by one wintry night in Beijing when struggling to get a taxi home. By the end of that year, DiDi was already helping 100,000 people get around more easily.
Today, DiDi provides a range of daily services to over 677m annual active users in 15 countries, with a network of 32m annual active drivers who use DiDi to earn a living.
Established in China, DiDi launched the international business group (IBG) in 2018. With a business spanning Mobility, Food and Financial Services, IBG now serves more than 80m annual active users and 5m drivers and couriers.
