The DiDi Safety Intelligence team suggests the following area for Orangers to make deliveries (yellow zone is recommended, the black highlight should be avoided). The best time to carry out this activity is from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
It's important to consider that you must obtain approval from our Legal team due to the potential risk of injury at work. Make sure all necessary paperwork is signed according to the guidelines.

Helmet: Always wear a certified helmet that fits properly.
Reflective Vest: Wear high-visibility clothing, especially reflective vests, to be easily seen by drivers.
Gloves: Wear gloves to protect your hands and improve your grip on the handlebars.
Lights and Reflectors: Ensure your bike has front and rear lights and reflectors on the pedals and wheels.
Brakes: Check that the brakes are in good condition and working properly.
Tires: Check tire pressure and ensure there are no cuts or excessive wear.
Chain and Pedals: Ensure the chain is clean and lubricated and that the pedals are firm and undamaged.
Obey Traffic Rules: Follow traffic signs and rules of the road.
Bike Lanes: Use bike lanes whenever possible.
Hand Signals: Use hand signals to indicate turns and lane changes.
Safe Distance: Maintain a safe distance from parked vehicles to avoid opening doors unexpectedly.
Safe Routes: Plan your route in advance, choosing roads with less traffic and safer streets.
Maps and GPS: Use maps or navigation apps to find the best route and avoid getting lost.
Adverse Weather: Avoid riding in extreme weather conditions, such as heavy rain, snow, or ice. Wear appropriate rain gear if necessary.
Visibility: Use lights and reflective clothing in low-light or foggy conditions.
Backpacks and Panniers: Use appropriate backpacks or panniers to transport orders safely and balanced.
Weight and Distribution: Do not overload the bike and ensure the load is evenly distributed.

Mobile Phone: Carry a charged mobile phone for emergencies and to communicate with the operations center.

Training: Attend training sessions on road safety and proper bicycle use. (Basic bicycle riding in traffic awareness for everyone taking part in the program)
Updates: Stay informed about cyclist safety regulations and best practices.
Payment Method: Accept only trips with credit card payments, not cash.
Low Profile: Keep a low profile and avoid displaying wealth (e.g., cell phones, watches, jewelry, makeup, and dressing).
Familiarity with App: Become familiar with the DiDi Conductor app before starting the activity.
Cycling Experience: Ensure you have cycling experience and that your equipment is in good condition.
Behavior: Do not respond to verbal threats.
