At DiDi, we’re always pushing boundaries when it comes to safety, and we’re thrilled to introduce our latest feature: Safety Pax Verification. This new process, powered by advanced AI, ensures that every new passenger verifies their account before taking their first trip, creating a more secure environment for both drivers and riders.
New users will now need to go through a quick verification process that includes the following options:
Facial Verification: Take a live selfie to confirm identity.

Official Document Scan: Scan an INE or driver’s license.

Bank Card Entry: Add a valid bank card for extra security.
These verification methods help us detect attempts to use suspended accounts or invalid credentials, stopping potential risks before they even start. Once verified, passengers will display badges on their trip cards, giving drivers more confidence and peace of mind.

In addition to the existing security features, such as journey tracking, emergency button, and 24/7 support, Safety Pax Verification strengthens the overall protection for everyone using the platform.
