Join us for DiDi's annual tech hackathon, culminating in a live final round on 1024 Programmer's Day (October 24) in Beijing, China. This is your chance to develop innovative, real-world solutions.
Who Can Join?
Everyone at DiDi is welcome! This includes engineers, designers, PMs, ops, interns, and contractors, etc.Β
Team-based competition: Register as an individual or form your own team. If you need help finding teammates, the organizers can assist. More information is available in the official communications group.
Team Size: 2-5 people per team.
Individual Participation: Each person can only join one team.
Topic Registration: Each team can only register under one topic.
Team Changes: You have until 23:59 Beijing Time on October 10th to make any adjustments to your team, including additions, reductions, or team transfers. No changes will be possible after this deadline.
How It Works
New Ideas Only: Only brand-new, unapproved ideas are eligible. Ideas that are already approved, under development, or registered for existing projects cannot be used.
One Idea Per Team: This is a team-based competition, so only one submission per team is required. No need to submit duplicate information for individual team members.
Shortlisted Ideas: Ideas that are shortlisted will progress to the build and demo phases, with mentor support provided.

π X Award: Β₯5,000 (no limit on the number of teams) - for clever ideas that demonstrate significant impact.

FAQs
Q1: Why can Orangers outside China only join one track?
A: All other challenge tracks are highly relevant to DiDi products in China and will be conducted entirely in Chinese. We are actively working to open all tracks globally for D-Hacks 2026.
Q2: Can I submit an existing project?
A: No. Only brand-new ideas created for D-Hacks qualify. Submissions must be:

β Not under development/already launched
Violations will disqualify teams.
Q3: Can one team join multiple tracks?
A: No. Each team selects one track only and focuses on a single solution.
