The Operational Partners Learning Gateway (OPLG) is a one-stop-shop to support the learning of OCHA and its operational partners.
It serves as a key stopping point for OCHA and operational partners who want to learn from the various networks of humanitarian response such as, preparedness and response effectiveness, needs assessment and analysis, humanitarian access, cash coordination, humanitarian civil-military coordination, and to connect with the peace & security and development domains.
It offers a repository of core resources from these various networks, including training catalogues and calendars of events.
It provides a platform where OCHA and operational partners can sign up for upcoming training opportunities.
OCHA's Coordination Division in Geneva offers different types of training products on coordination and information management in humanitarian emergencies:
Foundational course: introduces a subject and prepares the audience to study the subject at a higher level.
Specialization course: prepares the audience to master, with the related experience, a career skill.
Certification course: helps the audience to get job-ready for specific tasks in a given role.
