Beadwork is part of a number of Philippine indigenous cultural expressions, especially as jewelry and as ornamentation for traditional dress. Colorful and intricate beadwork is closely associated with various indigenous cultures from the Cordillera and Cagayan Valley regions of Northern Luzon such as the Ga'dang, Kalinga, and Ifugao, as well as the various Lumad cultures in Mindanao such as the T'boli, Yakan, B'laan, and Manobo.
