Higher education for sustainable development (ESD) or education for sustainability (HE) aims to enable people not only to acquire and generate knowledge, but also to reflect on the effects and complexity of behaviours and decisions from a responsible, global and future-oriented perspective. Universities thus become catalysts for change and must play an increasingly important role in promoting responsible and active citizenship, with a clear vision of the importance and future challenges of sustainability.
On this occasion, the 10th Conference on Teaching Innovation and Quality will focus on university experiences and practices with the aim of developing the comprehensive training of university students and responding to sustainability from different perspectives (development of the transversal competences of the UD; design and development of projects and activities of APyS; development of the 2030 agenda and the SDGs, among others).
