Registering as a Foreign Student

U.S. STUDENTS:

As a U.S. citizen living abroad, we recommend that you register your trip in the U.S. Department of State – Consular Affairs website: studentsabroad.state.gov.

Registering is free and voluntary, and it allows the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate abroad to contact you should that be necessary. For more information on the benefits of registration, please check the website above.

EUROPEAN STUDENTS:

If you are a European student who is planning on staying in Spain for over three months, according to the Spanish law you need to register at the Bilbao police station. For more information, please check with us at the CIDE Office.
