San Bartolome High School is pleased to announce the STEM Screening for the Senior High School Program, Academic Year 2025-2026. This process aims to identify students who demonstrate strong academic foundations and the necessary skills to excel in the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) strand.
SCREENING PROCESS AND SCHEDULE
STEP 1: Submission of Report Card & Grade Evaluation (7-8 APRIL 2025)
Applicants must submit their latest photocopy of report card for initial screening.
Based on the 1st to 3rd Quarter Average Rating, students must have a minimum average grade of 88% in Science, Math, and English, with a general average of at least 90%.
STEP 2: Qualifying Test (9 APRIL 2025)
A comprehensive assessment will be conducted to evaluate proficiency in Science, Math, and English.
The test will consist of 75 points, equally distributed across the three subjects.
STEP 3: Interview (11 APRIL 2025)
Qualified applicants will undergo an interview to assess their critical thinking, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities.
STEP 4: Announcement of Qualified Applicants (16 APRIL 2025)
The final selection will be based on the following criteria:
General Average: 30%
Qualifying Test Score: 50%
Interview Performance: 20%
To be eligible for admission, applicants must attain a minimum overall score of 75%.
