I never did imagine that I would become a teacher. Things changed in a very unexpected way, from a medical dreamer to a newbie teacher. It was more than three years ago when I decided to grab the opportunity brought by the scholarship. I was thrilled and excited back then but the fire in my heart somehow gradually lose its glow because I thought that I was not well-equipped to be a teacher. Despite this feeling, I never gave up, I searched for my purpose and my constant whys became the reason to realize my main goal from the start- to SERVE the Filipino students.
As time passes by, I always enjoy going to classes and sharing all the ideas I know to my dear students. One of the most fulfilling moment for me as a teacher was the celebration of 2019 Teacher's Day, I never thought that they would put so much effort in preparing surprises and they also sent a heartfelt personal message towards me on how I became an influence to them in every single day. I must say that these incomparable gestures are true enough for me to say that sacrifices are worth giving for. Witnessing them grow inside the four corners of our classroom and changing them to be the 'BEST' version of themselves are the sweetest fruits that a teacher can ever reap.
