ABSTRACT
This investigation focused on how Arts Integration in Mathematics (AIM) affected Mathematics 10, specifically in circle topics. One class of Grade 10 students of 35 learners at Quirino National High School took part in the study. Data on the participants' level of performance in mathematics before and after using the intervention materials were gathered using pre- and post-tests. The mean of the pre- and post-test scores and the effect of AIM were calculated using mean and standard deviation, and the significant difference between the pre- and post-intervention scores was determined using a paired t-test. Additionally, eta squared was used to calculate the effect size of AIM, and it was interpreted according to Cohen's D criteria. With a pre-test mean of 8.63 and a post-test mean of 15.66, from low to high performance, there is a significant distinction in the participants' performance levels before and after the intervention, with a mean difference of 7.03 between the two. Additionally, there is a significant difference in the participants' level of performance before and after the implementation of AIM in teaching circles. Finally, it was determined that the intervention materials had a moderate effect. Thus, this confirms that the intervention materials were effective. The researcher recommends that considerable planning should go into incorporating the arts into math lessons to improve students' grasp of other mathematical concepts. As a result, parallel studies should be done within and across disciplines.
