ABSTRACT
This study utilized the descriptive-quantitative research design to gather the demographic profile, and the level of job awareness and satisfaction of the 24 teaching and non-teaching personnel of San Mateo North Central School in San Mateo North District. This shall serve as a guide for the school administration to implement effective human resource management practices in the school. Frequency, percentage, weighted mean, T-test and ANOVA were utilized to determine the difference on the level of job-awareness and job-satisfaction of personnel relative to demographic profile. The profile was correlated to their job-awareness and job-satisfaction; self, co-workers and immediate superior. The results show that in terms of organizational awareness, the school personnel are “very aware” of their organization with a mean of 4.23. In terms of job satisfaction, the respondents are “very satisfied” with a mean of 4.35. Moreover, t-test results show significant differences on the job-awareness in terms of gender, education attainment, and length of service. The data also shows significant differences on job-satisfaction in terms of gender, education attainment and length of service. This reflects that the school administration needs to enhance its Human Resource Management to help increase the level of organizational awareness and job satisfaction in the workplace in support of a healthy harmonious work atmosphere and learning environment for quality work output and better learning outcome.
