ABSTRACT
This study used the experimental research design, which aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of RAMCROP (Recognizing Adverbs of Manner Through Crossword Puzzles) intervention in enhancing the skills of 65 Grade 3 learners in recognizing adverbs of manner. The respondents were divided into control and experimental groups and underwent pre and post-testing to evaluate the impact of the intervention. Data were analyzed and interpreted utilizing various statistical tools such as mean, standard deviation, t-tests, and Cohen's d. Results revealed that the intervention helped the learners improve their skills in recognizing adverbs of manner. Moreover, the implementation of the RAMCROP intervention revealed a large effect in improving the learners' skills in adverbs of manner. The study recommended that the intervention should be adopted in teaching higher grades to help them become more competent, particularly in recognizing adverbs of manner, and a parallel study should be conducted to test further the effectiveness of RAMCROP intervention in teaching other competencies in English in all grade levels.
