ABSTRACT

This study assessed the status of implementing the School-Based Feeding Program of the fifteen (15) schools of the Tumauini North District under the new normal educational system. Areas of concern were limited to selected profile variables of the SBFP-implementing Schools for the Year 2021. The means of challenges encountered, interventions’ levels and effectiveness were computed and compared. Results showed that the evident challenges of SBFP implementing schools are complementary activities. Project management challenges also include Levels of interventions used, and their effectiveness revealed that all implementing schools were implemented to a great extent. Test of Difference and Analysis of Variance (F-test) showed no significance when grouped according to their profile variables. Thus, some selected variables do not affect the challenges encountered by the implementing schools, levels of interventions, and their effectiveness. Based on the drawn results, it is recommended that each SBFP implementing school have a comprehensive project management plan, including the mechanism and time frame of activities. This result serves as a roadmap for the process flow and a better understanding of everyone’s contribution toward the effective implementation of SBFP.
