ABSTRACT
Project SHARES (Strengthening Harmonious Awards and Recognition for Every Student) and academic performance of Grade 10 students in Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao of San Mariano National High School utilized the Quantitative Research Approach, specifically the Quasi-Experimental Research design. Sixty (60) Grade 10 students of San Mariano National High School-Main served as respondents employing the non-random sampling technique. There were two groups of respondents, the experimental group and the control group. The experimental group applied Project SHARES to give rewards as an intervention to learners. The statistical tools in analyzing the data used were the Mean, Paired t-test, Independent t- test, and Eta2. Results revealed that there is a significant difference between learners' academic performance before and after Project SHARES was employed. Moreover, students who are exposed to Project SHARES have a significant difference in their academic performance compared to those who are not exposed to the intervention with a large effect. From the findings and conclusion, Project SHARES is recommended for use as an intervention in teaching Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao and in other similar studies to improve performance.
