ABSTRACT
This study aimed to determine the efficacy of Project KAHOOT (Key Activities to Help Optimize Opportunities on Teaching) in mastering the competencies "explain the effects of force when applied to an object" and "characterizing magnetic force" of K to 12's Science 4. It utilized the pre-experimental pretest-posttest design with participants selected through convenience sampling. It employed standardized assessment from DepEd Science 4 modules as data gathering tools. The researcher also used virtual interviews and observation via phone calls and videoconferencing to validate the data gathered from the pretest, posttest, Learner's Daily Learning Log, and Individual Learning Monitoring Plan. This study's data analysis found that Project KAHOOT significantly affected the participants' mastery of targeted competencies, t(30) = 15.01, p = .001. Also, the intervention exhibited a large effect size, η2 = .886, which implies that Project KAHOOT is an effective intervention in enhancing learners' mastery of the targeted competencies. The researcher recommends the broad adoption of Project KAHOOT in teaching K to 12 Grade 4 Science.
